Gas Prices Climb Heading Into the Weekend

(Undated) – Gas prices continue to bounce around heading into the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.05 a gallon, six cents higher than Monday’s average. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is five cents higher than Monday at $3.34 a gallon. Indiana drivers are paying an average of $3.11 a gallon, an eight-cent jump from Monday. Oklahoma drivers are paying the lowest prices in the nation with an average of $2.51 a gallon, seven cents higher than Monday. Those in California are paying the highest prices at $4.28 a gallon, up four cents from Monday.
