Winter Storm Watch Goes Into Effect Tomorrow

(Undated) – A “Winter Storm Watch” goes into effect for the area beginning tomorrow. According to the National Weather Service, beginning Saturday night and continuing into Monday we could see as much as ten inches of snowfall with a “band of accumulating flat ice” and blustery north winds gusting as high as 20-30 mph. Following the Canadian air mass bringing snow, we can expect to see bitterly cold temperatures with daytime highs mid-week in the teens and below-zero overnight lows.
