(Undated) – As winter storms affect millions of people more and more blood drives are being canceled. The American Red Cross says in addition to canceling blood drives, hazardous weather conditions can make it tougher to move vital blood products across the Red Cross network, potentially affecting deliveries to hospitals in some locations. That is why they are encouraging those that can safely donate to do so. The Red Cross says anyone who rolls up their sleeves this month will have a chance to win a trip for two to the Super Bowl. The winner and guest will get to enjoy Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, access to day-of in-stadium pre-game activities, tickets to the official Super Bowl Experience, round-trip airfare to New Orleans, three-night hotel accommodations (Feb. 7-10, 2025), plus a $1,000 gift card for expenses.
