(Undated) — During his first day in office, President Trump, signed multiple executive orders related to energy, including declaring a national energy emergency. However, GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, says those executive orders are not likely to have any immediate impact on prices at the pump.
De Haan says we are likely to continue to see an increase in the price per gallon as the winter comes to an end and the “normal” seasonal increase takes effect.
The current national average for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.14, four cents higher than the beginning of the week.
