(Undated) – This Valentine’s Day you could give the ultimate gift, the gift of life. The American Red Cross will host a blood drive in Oblong on Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Oblong Municipal Building. The Red Cross says Type O negative blood donors and those giving platelets are especially urged to give to keep critical blood products on the shelves. The Red Cross also says now would be a good time to sign up for “Rapid Pass.” According to the Red Cross, “Rapid Pass” can help save time during blood and/or platelet donations.
