Gas Prices Slip Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell three cents over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.12 a gallon. The statewide average for Illinois is a penny lower than Friday at $3.25 a gallon. Indiana drivers are paying an average of $2.98 a gallon, up a penny from Friday. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest prices nationwide with an average of $2.65 a gallon, unchanged from Friday. Those in California are paying the highest prices in the nation at $4.75 a gallon, a penny higher than Friday.
