Maroons Come Back Falls Short Saturday

(T-Town) — The Robinson Maroons attempted comeback fell short Saturday night and they lost to Teoutopolis 62-58. The Maroons were down by as many as 20 points in the third quarter, but were within two late before a pair of free throws sealed their fate. The Maroons were lead in scoring by Walker Sandschaefer with 16 points. He also contributed five rebounds, two steals and one block. Brayden Childress had 15 points and 6 rebounds Chance Black added 14 points and 4 boards. The Maroons are back in action Tuesday on the road at Effingham-St. Anthony, where they will try to end their five game skid. The Maroons currently sit at 3-6 on the season 1-1 in the conference.
