The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Illinois counties of the WTYE Listening Area. According to officials from the National Weather Service office in Lincoln, rain will change to freezing rain and snow later tonight. Officials say that a light glaze of ice is likely and a total snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches would be possible in the advisory area. Meanwhile, Knox County, Indiana in the WTYE Listening Area remains under a Winter Storm Watch through tomorrow night.
