(Oblong) — The Oblong Panthers finished the LOVC Tournament on a high note beating Cerro Gordo 51-35. According to Panthers Head Coach Ryan Cheek this was the first time he felt like the team play a full solid thirty two minutes. Cheek says they hope to carry the momentum into the rest of the season and beyond. The Panthers were led in scoring by Nate Meese with nineteen points. Kacey Cheek also had a big night finishing with a double double finishing the night with eighteen points and fifteen boards. They are back in action tomorrow as they hit the road to face Union High School in Dugger.
