LTC Receives Help From Foundation

(Robinson) — Lincoln Trail College will be seeing some major upgrades around campus thanks to the generosity of the Lincoln Trail College Foundation. According to Coordinator of Marketing & Public Information Chris Forde, the Lincoln Trail College Foundation recently appropriated one hundred and sixty five thousand dollars for projects that will be completed over the next six months. Some of the projects the Foundation approved includes sixty one thousand five hundred dollars to make improvements to STEM/Biology classroom spaces. Thirty five thousand dollars to upgrade the light board and begin the conversion to LED stage lights in the Zwermann Arts Center and twenty five thousand dollars to pay for textbooks for LTC students. Here are some of the other areas the money will be spent.

· $61,500 to make improvements to STEM/Biology classroom spaces.
· $4,000 to support an applied project for the LTC Construction Technology students.
· $10,000 annually to support professional development activities for faculty and staff.
· $17,074 to make modifications to the Industrial Annex that will allow the college to house a pre-K (ages 3-5) program on campus.
· $35,000 to upgrade the light board and begin the conversion to LED stage lights in the Zwermann Arts Center.
· $25,000 to pay for textbooks for LTC students
