(Robinson) — Despite a fourth inning rally the LTC Statesmen baseball team fell to Georgia Highlands 4-3 in game one of a Sunday double header. Georgia jumped out to an early four run lead, with three in the second inning and one in the third. LTC put up three runs in the fourth. Both teams where held scoreless after that. Game two saw the Statesmen put together a huge ninth inning. After Georgia jumped out to a one run lead in the first inning LTC answered back with a run of their own in the fifth. That was all the scoring either offense could muster until LTC exploded for four runs in the top of the ninth to pick up the 5-1 win. The Statesmen are back in action this weekend for two in Grand Park, IN.
