Gas Prices Creeping Back Up

(Undated) – You may have noticed that gas prices have started to creep back up in recent days. According to Gasbuddy.com the national average price for a gallon of gasoline has risen five cents per gallon over the last week to 2.84. The average price of diesel also rose, tacking on four cents to an average of 3.18 per gallon. The current statewide average here in Illinois is up to 2.90 a gallon which falls in line with the increase across the nation. The price at the pump is cheaper across the Wabash with the statewide average in Indiana hovering around 2.81 a gallon, just a two cent increase from a week ago.
