(Robinson) – A couple of big announcements highlighted last night’s Robinson City Council meeting. The City Council formed a committee to oversee the July 4th Celebration as the City now takes over the finances of the event. Park and Recreation Superintendent, Mike Shimer, believes this is a move that will greatly benefit the future of the event.
Also, during last night’s meeting it was announced that Pepsi Mid-America will hold an open house and ribbon cutting at the distribution center. The Pepsi distribution center has been operational since late last year. The ribbon cutting and open house is set for May 7th at Noon.
