(Undated) – Gas prices across the nation, state, and locally continue to bounce up and down amid market uncertainty. According to GasBuddy.com the average prices in the U.S. continues to move higher, posting a 6 cent per gallon rise over the last week. At the gas pump, motorists have been seeing prices rise on and off and the lowest prices appear to now be solidly behind us. The current state wide average here in Illinois is $2.44 a gallon. It’s $2.37 a gallon in Indiana. Locally the average price at the pump is around $2.30 a gallon.
