(Undated) – Once again the WTYE listening area seems to have “dodged the bullet” when it comes to the latest round of winter weather. We saw widely scattered snow flurries through the day yesterday but the frozen precipitation seems to have missed us. Still with below freezing temperatures through the morning, look out for slick spots. Now the focus moves from a winter forecast to a spring type forecast with the threat of thunderstorms through tomorrow. According to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service, we can expect to see showers and scattered thunderstorms tomorrow with winds gusting as high as 30mph. A much nicer forecast returns Sunday with sunshine and highs in the upper 40’s. Stay tuned to WTYE for the latest weather information.
