(Carmi, IL) – The body of missing Harrisburg teen, Brooke Naylor, was discovered late last week in Gallatin County, following a week long search. Illinois State Police Investigators requested the public’s assistance in locating the 19-year-old Harrisburg woman after her abandoned vehicle was found on March 3rd. On Friday, March 8th, at approximately 5:40pm a member of the search team located Naylor’s body. Following an autopsy and preliminary investigation, Gallatin County Coroner, Tony Cox, ruled Naylor’s death was a result of hypothermia brought on by exposure to the cold. Toxicology results could take up to an additional six weeks. Investigators are not saying how or why they think she was in the field where her body was found.
