Panthers Rolled by Edwards County

(Oblong) – The Oblong Panthers found themselves on the wrong side of 18-2 thumping at the hands of Edwards County in baseball action yesterday. Edwards County jumped out early and never looked back scoring 16 runs in the second inning. Nathan Meese took the loss for Oblong allowing five hits and eight runs over one inning, striking out one and walking one. Brayton Akers and Conner Potts each collected one hit to lead the Panthers. Oblong falls to 0-1 on the season and will be back in action Wednesday at Lawrenceville.
