(Oblong) – The Oblong Panthers fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 14-4 loss to Cumberland yesterday. Cumberland hung up ten runs in the first inning and just cruised from there. Garrison Powell took the loss for Oblong Panthers Varsity. He allowed eight hits and ten runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one and walking zero. With the loss the Panthers fall to 1-6 on the season and slated to be back in action tomorrow when they host Neoga.
