(Robinson) – The LTC Statesmen split a Wednesday double-header with Franklin. In game one LTC jumped out to the early lead and picked up the 13-8 win. Mitchell Spencer took the win for the Statesmen. He allowed two hits and three runs over four innings, striking out eight. Game two went down to the wire and LTC fell 11-10. Carter Poiry took the loss for the Statesmen. He went two and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out seven and walking one. Kaunner Cleek started the game for the Statesmen. He allowed three hits and five runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three. LTC is currently at 18-16 and will be back in action today as they host Shawnee.
