(Undated) – While none of us are thrilled about the reappearance of cold, fall, and winter like weather in April, it is not unprecedented. According to our records we experienced a similar cold snap last year around this time. Here at the WTYE studio we recorded a daytime high on April 13th of 79 with an overnight low of 55. Then just four days later, on April 17th the daytime high was 35 with an overnight low of just 28 degrees. We also recorded an inch of snowfall in April of last year, which fell on April 2nd followed by a trace of snow on the April 9th. WTYE continues to be the official weather recording and reporting station in Robinson for the National Weather Service.
