NWS Flood Warning Continues for the Wabash River

(Undated) – Flooding along the Wabash and White rivers continues to be a concern. The latest “Flood Warning” from the National Weather Service, is calling for the Wabash at Hutsonville to crest Friday and begin to fall below flood stage through Sunday. The current “Flood Warning” remains in effect until 7am Monday morning. The National Weather Service is optimistic that things will be able to dry out a bit, with a forecast that looks rain free through at least tomorrow, with a negligible amount of rain on Wednesday. However, there is the potential for a substantial rainfall event Thursday through Thursday night, with lighter amounts continuing into Saturday. Stay tuned to WTYE for the latest weather information.
