Flooding Continues for the Area

(Undated) – The latest round of showers has done nothing for those along the Wabash River or those hoping to get into the fields. Yesterday’s weather dropped more rain on top of already saturated ground. Here at the WTYE studio, we recorded nearly 2 inches of rain, with our rain gauge reading 1.87 inches of rain for the 24 hour period. The National Weather Service continues to warn of flooding, in fact, the Flood Warning for the Wabash and White Rivers continues until further notice. They are still forecasting the Wabash River at Hutsonville will crest Wednesday five feet above flood stage, at just over 21 feet.
