(Robinson) – The RHS Maroons captured the Regional Championship following their 9-4 win over Newton, Saturday. After one inning the Maroons and Eagles were knotted up at two apiece, before RHS added two in the second, one in the third, and four in the sixth, for the win. Brayden Childress was the winning pitcher, going five innings, giving up three runs on six hits, walking three, and striking out eleven. Elliott Stifle gets the save pitching two innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out two. The Maroons will face Breese Mater Dei Wednesday at 7 pm in the Teutopolis Sectional.
