(Palestine) – The wetter than average weather continues to cause problems for farmers across the Midwest including those here in Crawford County. Rebecca Richardville and her family own a farm in southeast Crawford County near Palestine. Richardville says much like her fellow farmers, they only have a small percentage of crops in the ground.

She says with the spring we have had a solid planting strategy is a must.

Here at the WTYE studio, we have recorded just over eight inches of rain for the month and nearly twenty-eight inches for the year. However, it looks like we could be in for a few days of dry conditions with mostly sunny skies and only a slight chance of rain into the middle of next week.
