(Undated) – The month of May is in the books and it was the wettest month so far this year and one of the wettest Mays in the last few years. Here at the WTYE studio, we wrapped up the month recording 7.85 inches of rain. May of 2018 saw just 3 inches of rain for the month, we recorded 9 inches in 2017 and just three inches in 2016. Temperatures for last month were pretty average. Here at the WTYE studio, we recorded an average high of 77 and an average low of 55. In May of 2018, the average high was 85 with a low of 61. In 2017 it was 75 and 54, 72 and 53 in 2016. WTYE continues to be the weather recording and reporting station in Robinson for the National Weather Service.
