Weekend Weather Could Bring More Storms

However, the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” is calling for showers and thunderstorms to return to the area over the weekend into early next week. Several rounds of thunderstorms will occur Friday through Monday. According to the National Weather Service, there is a risk for severe weather Friday night but it is still too early to determine any potential risks over the weekend. Heavy rainfall will be likely with early indications suggesting storm total rainfall of 1.5 to 2.5 inches Friday night through Monday.
