Wabash Valley Mourning the Death of Eva Kor

(Terre Haute, IN) – The Wabash Valley is mourning the loss of an icon. Holocaust survivor, Eva Kor, passed July 4th on the annual CANDLES trip to Poland. In 1995, Kor opened the CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center in Terre Haute, with a mission to prevent prejudice and hatred through education about the Holocaust. She has touched hundreds of thousands of people over her 85 years through her message of overcoming tragedy, finding forgiveness, and healing. Eva Kor was 85.
