Indiana Man Charged Following Doggie Door Break In

(Farmersburg, IN) – An Indiana man was arrested on July 4th following reports of a stolen truck. According to authorities, Sullivan County Sheriff’s dispatch received a report that a pickup truck had been stolen from a locked garage, in Farmersburg, Indiana. While deputies were investigating the burglary, dispatch received a call of a vehicle matching the description of the stolen truck. Around 2 PM Thursday, officers located 55-year-old Garland Tuttle. According to deputies, Tuttle admitted to taking the truck and the keys by accessing the owners home through the doggie door. Tuttle was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of .291, burglary, and auto theft. He was booked into the Sullivan Co. Jail on $20,000 Bond.
