(Undated) – If you have outside plans this weekend you may want to reconsider. The issue is not going to be rain, but rather excessive heat. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, very hot and humid conditions are projected through Sunday, with highs in the mid-90s and afternoon heat indices peaking from 105 to 115 degrees. They have issued an “Excessive Heat Warning” for the WTYE listening area, which goes into effect tomorrow afternoon and will remain in effect through at least Sunday. Stay tuned to WTYE for the latest weather information.
