(Robinson) – The Robinson City Council began the cannabis discussion during last night’s meeting. They looked at an ordinance to amend city code to prohibit cannabis businesses. However, the issue was tabled until the August 27th council meeting. There will be a public hearing held prior to the meeting in the council chambers. In other business, the city council heard from LTC President, Dr. Ryan Gower, about the Crawford County Recreation Center.
According to Gower, a lot of research has gone into the planning of the Rec Center and it will fill a real need.
Gower also reiterated that the new facility will be built from private donations and they are little more than halfway to their goal, with fundraising to continue.
