(Hutsonville) – The Hutsonville Unit 1 Board heard a report regarding the Fiscal Year 2020 budget. The tentative budget shows a deficit of around $132,366. According to Unit 1 Superintendent, Julie Kraemer, the deficit budget is due to the purchase of a bus and some building maintenance projects. She said the budget was indeed tentative and could change slightly prior to the official adoption of the budget in September. The budget will remain on display in the Superintendent’s office until the September 23rd public hearing and adoption.
