Vincennes Police Chief Has Resigned

(Vincennes, IN) — Vincennes Police Chief, Dusty Luking, has resigned his position effective immediately. His resignation also includes his retirement from the City Police Force. No reason was given for his immediate resignation. However, he had been placed on administrative leave with pay prior to the resignation. In a written statement, Vincennes Mayor, Joe Yochum, announced Assistant Chief, Terry Johnson, and Sergeant, Jon McKinnon, will run the Department’s day to day operations. No other information has been released at this time.
