(Robinson) — The Robinson Boys Cross Country team won the regional meet Saturday with a team score of 37 to advance to the Effingham sectional next Saturday. Negus Bogard led RHS with his second-place finish, Maverick Wright was 5th, Koty Amdahl 6th, Parker Middleton 15th, and Zach Buttolph 18th. The RHS girls finished third to also advance to the sectional next Saturday. The girls scored 106 points finishing behind Marshall with a score of 23 points and Casey with 98. Leighanna Hamilton led the girls in 12th place, Madi Staley 15th, Macy Sutfin 24th, Stevee Walker 32nd, and Emma Dorfmueller 41st. The girls run at 10 am Saturday at MidAmerica Motorworks in Effingham and the boys follow at 11 am.
