(Undated) – The CCHD reminds you that your best shot at avoiding the flu is to get vaccinated. It’s recommended for anyone six months of age or older and should be administered as soon as possible for full effectiveness. Your next chance to get the seasonal flu shot is coming up Wednesday. The Crawford County Health Department will host an “adults and children” clinic from 4 pm-7 pm at the Health Department. Vaccinations will also be provided every Monday morning from 8 am-11 am during the department’s regular “Walk-In” clinics. Public health managers remind those getting a shot that it typically takes about two weeks after vaccination for the shot to reach full effectiveness.
