(Undated) – Gas prices statewide have fallen for the fourth straight week to a current average of $2.56 a gallon. That is nearly a seven cent drop from last week. According to Head of Petroleum Analysis with GasBuddy, Patrick DeHann, crude oil inventories increased by 5.7 million barrels but gasoline inventories decreased by 3 million barrels. The current national average price at the pump is $2.61 a gallon. That marks a 2.7 cent increase from last week. However, a nearly 14 cent drop from a year ago. The statewide average in Indiana is $2.45 a gallon.
