(Undated) – All four of the county school boards met last night. The Oblong Unit 4 Board approved the Fiscal Year 2021 Risk Management Plan, the FFA Trip Request, and they tentatively approved the Tax Levy. A tax Levy hearing was set for December 16th at 5:50 pm. In other business, the board approved the tuition waiver for non-resident students of full-time employees. The Hutsonville Unit 1 Board set a “Truth in Taxation” hearing on the tentative 2019 Tax Levy for December 12th at 4:30 pm prior to the next school board meeting. The Palestine Unit 3 Board set graduation dates for both the High School and Grade School. Palestine High School graduation is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 16th. The Grade School graduation is set for 7:00 pm on Monday, May 18th. The Robinson Unit 2 Board reviewed its Risk Management and preliminary Tax Levy plans.
