(Robinson) – The Crawford Memorial Hospital Board welcomed a new doctor and took care of some routine items during last night’s board meeting. Dr. Joanna Edwards was introduced last night. She is a family practice and obstetrics doctor and will be “hanging out her shingle” in the summer of 2020. There were some by-laws as well as a few policies and procedures that had to be submitted and revised for the coming year. In other business, the finance department is looking into the possibility of re-financing some bonds in order to save some money in the future. The 2020 tax levy was updated and passed, with a few revisions. However, it passed with full board approval. An open house has been set for the new Radiology department for January 16, 2020.
