RPD Says Goodbye and Good Luck to Dan Strauch

(Robinson) – The Robinson Police Department officially said goodbye and good luck to long-time Officer Sergeant Dan Strauch yesterday, following his retirement from the force. Strauch was sworn in as a Robinson police officer on June 15th, 2000. During his career, he served as a patrol officer, K9 officer, and a Sergeant. Sergeant Strauch was also a certified Drug Recognition Expert by the State of Illinois. During his time on patrol Sergeant Strauch is accredited with over 500 DUI arrests and countless narcotic related arrests. He will be starting a new career at Marathon as the Security Coordinator.
