(Undated) – Police Departments across the state are looking for new officers and the Illinois State Police is no different. The ISP is now taking applications for this summer’s cadet class. Applicants must be at least 21-years-old and have an Associate Degree or 60 hours of college work. Master Sergeant, Hector Alejandre, says it’s a rewarding career and that the Illinois State Police is the best in the country.
