(Robinson) – The RHS Maroons came up short in Tuesday hoops, falling to Lawrenceville 52-47. The Maroons were led in scoring by Cade Lassen, who finished with 15 points on the night. Brayden Childress chipped in 10 points in the loss. The Maroons will begin play in the LIC Tournament this weekend. The number three seed RHS Maroons will face the Newton Eagles in the opening round Saturday. Tipoff is set for 7:30 pm. Marshall is the number one seed followed by Richland County. Casey and Lawrenceville, round out the top five seeds. The LIC Tournament will be held at Paris High School.
