(Undated) – As we all adjust to the “new normal” of the state-mandated “Stay at Home” order, the Crawford County Health Department is reiterating everyone that there have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county. However, in an effort to “flatten the curve” and halt the spread of COVID-19 the CCHD as issued increased measures. In addition to the restrictions imposed on area businesses in response to COVID-19 and Governor J.B. Pritzker, if you are not listed as an essential service such as hospital, pharmacy, grocery store, gas station, banks, and you are not able to practice social distancing of 6 feet, you must close until further notice. To learn more about the additional steps being taken find this story at WTYEfm.com.

For our schools and generous neighbors/family members who are delivering necessary food and supplies to others to keep them safe at home, we appreciate you. However, please make arrangements to leave deliveries outside their closed-door rather than making direct contact with the individuals.
