(Undated) – Teachers and students will have one less thing to worry about when classes resume. According to ROE 12 Regional Superintendent of Schools, Monte Newlin, the U.S. Department of Education approved a waiver request submitted Monday by the State Board of Education. The request is to waive all required testing for the 2019-2020 school year. Newlin says this move is more than welcome.
Students across the state continue to work from home as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools will remain closed through at least April 7th when the state-mandated “Stay at Home” order is tentatively set to expire.
