Gas Price Starting To Rebound

(Undated) – The freefall of prices at the pump may be slowing. According to GasBuddy.com, for the first time in the last ten weeks, the national average price of gasoline has moved higher, rising 1.5 cents over the last week to $1.75 per gallon. Head of Petroleum Analysis for GasBuddy, Patrick DeHaan, says it’s becoming a bit clearer that the free fall of gas prices from the COVID-19 pandemic are solidly behind us as gasoline demand rebounds across the country as cities and states slowly reopen. The statewide average in Illinois is up twenty-two cents from a week ago to $1.93 a gallon. The price at the pump in Indiana is up twenty-cents from a week ago to $1.68 a gallon.
