(Undated) – The Red Cross continues its plea to those that have tested positive for COVID-19 and recovered, donate plasma today. One of the therapies to emerge in the fight against COVID-19 that has shown some success is the use of plasma from people who have recovered from the illness to treat those that currently have it. Joe Zydlo from the American Red Cross says it’s a process called convalescent plasma.
You can donate, but you must meet the same requirements as if you were going to donate blood. For more information, follow the link with this story at WTYEfm.com.
