Weekend Motorcycle Accident Sends Two to the Hospital

(Undated) – A two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon sent two to the hospital. According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, 49-year-old Chad Case of Lawrenceville and 45-year-old Justin Lynn of Rural Robinson were riding their Harley-Davidsons west on County Road 700 N when Case lost control, causing Lynn to “lock-up” his brakes. After traveling about 219 feet Case came off of his bike and was struck by Lynn. Both men sustained injuries. Case was taken by ambulance to Crawford Memorial Hospital and then airlifted to Carle Hospital. Lynn refused medical treatment at the scene. However, he went to CMH on his own.
