(Undated) – If you want to make a donation and have your blood tested for COVID-19 antibodies, you may want to contact the Red Cross and reserve your spot for Monday’s blood drive at CMH. The Red Cross will be set up at Crawford Memorial Hospital Monday from 1 pm-5 pm. However, according to the Red Cross donation page, just eight appointment slots are remaining. For a limited time, the American Red Cross will test all blood, platelet, and plasma donations for COVID-19 antibodies as an additional health service to donors. This testing may provide critical insight into whether donors may have possibly been exposed to the coronavirus. These tests are not meant to diagnose illness.
