National Average Ticks Up Slightly

(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has ticked up two cents as we head into the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $3.49, up from Monday’s average. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen three cents from Monday to $3.80 a gallon. In Indiana, the statewide average is $3.50, eight cents lower than the beginning of the week. Mississippi drivers are paying $2.96 a gallon and those in California are paying an average of $4.73 a gallon.
