By Tony Collins Jul 12, 2024 | 6:45 AM

(Undated) – The City of Robinson is working to address some concerns from the public following the installation of fiber-optic internet. According to Robinson Mayor, Mike Shimer, the City has received many calls with complaints of open holes in people’s yards. With this being a major safety concern, Shimer and City Engineer, Jeff Hillard, sat down with the company and addressed their concerns. Shimer says after some discussion, there is a “game plan” to go back and restore damages. The restoration work includes filling holes, seeding, and laying straw mats. The City asks for the public’s continued patience as they work as quickly as they can to get everything back to normal.
