Wet and Rainy Weather Remains in the Forecast

(Undated) – Wet and stormy weather appears to be here for the rest of the day. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, scattered thunderstorms will affect the area throughout the day today and this evening. They say the round of afternoon storms could contain “damaging wind gusts and heavy rain.” The weather service says scattered storms will linger south of I-70 tomorrow. However, severe weather is not expected. As a result of the heavy rain, the National Weather Service has issued a “Flood Watch” in effect through tomorrow morning.
