CDC Reports Uptick in Drowning Deaths

(Undated) – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says training and supervision can keep you safe while swimming. According to the CDC, after decades of decline drowning deaths are on the rise in the United States. Experts say swimming lessons and adult supervision are two of the most important things for kids getting in the water. The CDC reports that over forty-five-hundred people died each year as a result of drowning from 2020-2022.
